Complaints must be submitted using the Council’s complaint form.
The completed form can be sent by email to Enforcement@bhec.texas.gov or by mail to
1801 Congress Avenue, Suite 7.300, Austin, Texas 78701
You may also seek information or report violations through the Office of the Attorney General of Texas here.
The No Surprises Act
The No Surprises Act protects you from unexpected medical bills. Under this law, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) explaining the expected cost of your therapy before treatment begins.
• How costs are calculated: Your total investment depends on your individual circumstances, the type of care, and the number of sessions you choose to attend.
• What a GFE means: A GFE is an estimate for your planning, not a binding contract. It does not obligate you to receive services, nor does it include unforeseen services that may be recommended later during your treatment path.
• Questions & Disputes: To learn more about your right to a GFE or how to dispute a bill, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
